David-Living Asiam is a visionary who believes that personal growth should extend beyond academics to encompass the development of every skill, talent, and passion an individual possesses. His philosophy is rooted in the idea that holistic self-improvement leads to a more fulfilled and impactful life. He is fluent in English and French, speaks some Spanish, and is proficient in three West African languages—Ewe, Akan, and Ga.

A versatile professional with a deep passion for languages, he holds a diploma in modern languages from the University of Strasbourg, France. In 2015, during his studies in Strasbourg, he played the lead role of Cyrano de Bergerac in the maiden edition of the modern language department’s drama production, Prothelan (Projet de Théâtre en Langues), with proceeds donated to charity.

Also an alumnus of the University of Ghana, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Linguistics and a Master of Arts degree in Conference Interpreting, certified by the Pan-African Masters Consortium in Interpretation and Translation (PAMCIT) and supported by the interpretation directorates of the European Union and the United Nations Office in Nairobi. Following his training as an interpreter, he interned with the Directorate for Conference
Management and Publications of the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa, gaining valuable exposure early in his career.

Since 2019, David-Living has been practising as a freelance Conference Interpreter and Translator, covering high-level meetings and completing translation projects for institutions across diverse fields, including health, education, politics, agriculture, security, and culture, among others. In addition to his freelance status, he currently heads the Events, Conference and Interpretation Directorate at Sopodiva Training Centre where he has worked since 2020 in various capacities.

Beyond his linguistic expertise, he is also a gospel musician, professional MC, and voice-over talent who strongly believes in the undeniable role of youth and women empowerment in achieving The Africa We Want.
